The Dumb Friends League has a history of service. For more than 100 years, we have sheltered and cared for lost, abandoned and abused pets.

Thanks to wide community support, we offer programs that help both pets and people.

We are proud to be the metro-Denver area’s local humane society. You are invited to visit our website and our two shelters to learn more about us.

Eating Disorders

Dogs and cats will sometimes eat socks, rocks or other objects, which may result in a variety of problems for both you and your pet.

When cats feel threatened, they usually respond in three ways to the object, person or situation they perceive as a threat: fight, flee or freeze.

If you want your cat to live a long and healthy life, keep her inside.

An aversive is something that your cat finds unpleasant. It can be used to discourage her from a particular action or place.
