The Dumb Friends League has a history of service. For more than 100 years, we have sheltered and cared for lost, abandoned and abused pets.

Thanks to wide community support, we offer programs that help both pets and people.

We are proud to be the metro-Denver area’s local humane society. You are invited to visit our website and our two shelters to learn more about us.

Having a Birthday?

For children ages 6 and up

Be a party animal and help homeless pets at the same time!
Have your child’s birthday party with us.

We provide an educational presentation and a pet visit followed by a shelter tour. We also provide a craft activity and a gift bag, including an activity book to take home.

We offer basic table coverings (solid colors) and a Happy Birthday banner. The birthday child chooses a prize from our Treasure Chest.

The birthday family coordinates additional decorations (no balloons, please), plus cake, food and gifts.
