Jenny Herren, Director of Marketing & Communications

Combining more than 14 years of marketing and communications expertise with a desire to make a difference in the lives of animals, Jenny Herren brings a strong background and equally strong passion to her role as director of marketing and communications for the Dumb Friends League.

Jenny joined the League in 2013 as strategic marketing manager, prior to which she was with Morris Animal Foundation, a nonprofit organization where she held positions in marketing and development. Her experience includes traditional and new media marketing, strategy, campaign management, and brand and creative oversight.

In her current role, Jenny is responsible for creating the organization’s overall marketing, communications and brand strategies to promote the mission, goals, philosophy and services of the Dumb Friends League. She oversees a creative team of 11 staff members that specialize in writing and editing, graphic design, public relations, digital marketing and humane education.

Jenny shares her home with her daughter and two cats (Jack and Stewart).
