CatFest
July 14

Quebec Street shelter
Because dog lovers shouldn’t have all the fun! CatFest is a fun and educational event that celebrates our love of cats. First 500 people will receive a free goodie bag. Admission is free.
Wag `n Trail
Sept. 22
8 a.m. to noon
Glendale Farm Open Space, Castle Rock
Hike the beautiful 1.6-mile trail with your dog, shop for pet-friendly merchandise, and enjoy demonstrations and great food.
Raise a minimum of $75 in pledges so you can receive a limited-edition Wag `n Trail logo long-sleeved T-shirt, a fabulous photo of you and your dog, and delicious ice-cream treats. But don’t stop there! Get more great prizes for higher fundraising levels.
Every dollar you raise will help the homeless pets in our care at our Buddy Center in Castle Rock.

If you see our Pet Care-avan around town, stop and meet with some of our adoptable pets! Each weekend the mobile adoption unit travels to various locations so pet lovers have the opportunity to visit with (and adopt!) cats, dogs and small pets in need of homes. Cru Vin Dogs helps homeless pets
League-alum Maggie is the inspiration behind our new partnership with Cru Vin Dogs Wine Group. Prior to her adoption last year, she was photographed by artist Jay Snellgrove to illustrate the company's new LOYAL COMPANION wine series. Now, the company is donating up to $1 per bottle from that series to help more homeless pets like her.
Maggie came to us last year via a circuitous route. A 4-month-old puppy at the time, she belonged to a family living on South Dakota’s Rosebud Indian Reservation. The family brought her to a visiting mobile spay/neuter clinic and left her there.
A Nebraska rescue group facilitated Maggie’s trip to the Dumb Friends League. From here, she went to live with Andrew Grayson and his dog, Noah. Now going on 2 years old, she is a happy, energetic pooch who is safe and secure in a loving home.

Shop for pet-friendly travel deals
Two of Colorado’s premier pet-friendly luxury hotel destinations are offering travel deals and an exciting way to benefit the Dumb Friends League. Hotel Teatro in downtown Denver and the Lodge and Spa at Cordillera are giving back through advance purchase travel cards. The League will receive a minimum of 16 percent of the proceeds from each card purchased! To purchase your card, visit TravelShareCard.com. Your Share Card purchase will not only pamper both you and your pet, but will also benefit the community. These travel promotions are arranged by Hope Travels, which pairs fantastic charities with luxury hotels and other travel suppliers. Their goal is to provide a simple and enjoyable way to help everyone give back to our communities.
Shop at The Crazy Merchant
When you shop at The Crazy Merchant, you can designate 10% of your purchase price as a donation towards the Dumb Friends League. The store keeps track of all donations and issues a check annually that reflects the total amount given to help homeless animals. There is no need to sign up; just head over to The Crazy Merchant in Littleton.
