Adorable, adoptable pups score big at 3rd annual DEN Puppy Bowl!

It was an epic gridiron battle. One for the ages. And in the end … every player was a winner!

No, we’re not talking about the Big Game—the Eagles’ victory over the Patriots could never compare to the excitement of this contest. On Friday, Feb. 2, adorable, adoptable puppies battled it out at the 3rd annual Denver International Airport (DEN) Puppy Bowl!

Six adoptable puppies from the Dumb Friends League took to the turf, while an adoptable adult dog and members of DEN’s Canine Airport Therapy Squad cheered from the sidelines.

The players of this bowl were not very good at football. They were pretty terrible, actually. They were, however, experts at being cute.

The tiny pup-letes played their way into the hearts of visitors at Denver International Airport. With big smiles all around, the puppies were successful in providing stress and anxiety relief for weary travelers while building awareness for shelter animals and pet adoptions.

The adorable participants were able to rest up before becoming available for adoption on Saturday, Feb. 3. We are happy to report that all of the pups quickly won their way into new, loving homes. Now that’s a one heck of a victory!
