Pet Adoption Specials for Colorado’s Birthday

In honor of Colorado’s birthday this weekend, the Dumb Friends League is offering discounted adoptions for the official state pet of Colorado—the shelter pet! Starting Friday, July 31, through Sunday, Aug. 2, adoption fees for adult dogs (1 year and older) will be $52.80 and fees for adult cats (1 year and older) will be waived.

In addition, the League is discounting its limited-edition “Colorado Cats Count” T-shirts to just $10, and all adopters will receive a free sticker to show their support for Colorado shelter pets.

All adoptions from the Dumb Friends League include a spay/neuter surgery, initial vaccinations, a microchip identification implant and a free visit to a participating veterinarian within the first 14 days of adoption. The standard adoption screening process still applies during all special promotions. This special is valid at all Dumb Friends League adoption locations, including our Petco adoption center at Colorado Boulevard and I-25.

The Dumb Friends League has been helping homeless animals in Colorado for more than 100 years and is excited to celebrate our great state by finding homes for pets in need.
