League team helping out in Atlanta

Hurricane Matthew Response

In response to a request from Atlanta Humane Society, the Dumb Friends League has sent a team of four staff members to assist with sheltering lost and abandoned pets at a temporary shelter in Atlanta. Some of the hundreds of pets at the shelter were transported there from Osceola County, Fla., due to destruction caused by Hurricane Irma, while others are pets from the Atlanta area that have been affected by hurricane-related flooding in that city. Our team is expected to assist with the feeding, care and sheltering of these animals for approximately one week.
