Road to Puppy Bowl Adoption Event on June 6

On Saturday, June 6, the Dumb Friends League is partnering with Animal Planet and the ASPCA to offer waived adoption fees for all adult pets (1 year and older) on the Road to Puppy Bowl. It’s an all-star adoption event to help pets of all sizes, shapes and breeds find their forever homes.

Those hoping to take home a new furry family member are invited to the Dumb Friends League Quebec Street Shelter on June 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a fun-filled event with photo opportunities with a Puppy Bowl referee, giveaways and plenty of adorable cats and dogs in need of loving homes. The best part? Animal Planet and the ASPCA have teamed up to cover all adoption fees for cats and dogs (1 year and older). The first 50 adopters at the Quebec Street Shelter will also receive a free swag bag.

Each February, Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl features adoptable pets from shelters nationwide, leading to hundreds of adoptions over the past 11 years. While the Puppy Bowl only comes once a year, helping homeless pets is a mission the Dumb Friends League, Animal Planet and the ASPCA support 365 days a year. The Road to Puppy Bowl event highlights the importance of pet adoption and responsible pet ownership by bringing this mission directly to communities across the country.

Visit RoadtoPuppyBowlDenver.Eventbrite.com to register for the event, and for the chance to win a $100 gift card. For more information about this event, contact the Dumb Friends League at (303) 751-5772.

Adoption fees have been waived thanks to grant funding from Animal Planet administered by the ASPCA. Waived adoption fees are on a first-come, first-served basis. Free giveaways while supplies last.
