Uber Puppies is back today … and bigger than ever!

As a cuddly kickoff to the biggest event in canine sports history, Animal Planet’s PUPPY BOWL XII, the Dumb Friends League is once again teaming up with Uber and Animal Planet to deliver adoptable puppies to animal lovers across Denver today—Wednesday, Feb. 3—between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for a puppy playdate.

For just $30, participants will have 15 minutes of snuggle time with pups, with every dollar from each visit donated directly to the Dumb Friends League. The best part? Each of our roving puppies will be available for adoption at our Quebec Street Shelter following the event! For details, ask the Dumb Friends League representative assisting with your puppy playdate.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Open your Uber app between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. today.
  1. Request the “PUPPIES” option in your app.
  2. Once the puppies arrive, you and your friends will get to enjoy 15 minutes of furry cuteness!
  3. If the puppies are unavailable, keep trying! This just means they’re currently being cuddled.

Demand for Uber Puppy Bowl is expected to be very high, so your patience is appreciated. Participants will receive an exclusive Puppy Bowl gift pack and are encouraged to post their experience on social media using #UberPuppyBowl.

If you’re not prepared for a puppy visit, you can still make a donation to help homeless pets at the Dumb Friends League.

New to Uber? Not a problem! Just download the Uber app and enter the promotion code PUPPYBOWL2016 for $20 off your first ride.

And don’t miss our pups in Puppy Bowl XII …

Three puppies from the Dumb Friends League—Riley, Moose and Ollie—will be representing the Mile High City during Puppy Bowl XII on Sunday, Feb. 7, from 1 – 3 p.m. (MST).

Teammates Moose and Ollie will be representing #TeamFluff, while Riley will play for the opposing #TeamRuff. Viewers are invited to vote online for this year’s MVP (Most Valuable Puppy) on game day, so help one of our draftees win the Bowl’s biggest honor!

Game-day coverage for Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl XII starts at 12:30 p.m. with the Puppy Bowl Pre-Game Show, featuring analysis and commentary from a team of sports correspondents. Puppy Bowl starts at 1 p.m. and repeats all day and night until 1 a.m.

The Dumb Friends League is among 44 shelters and rescue groups representing 25 states across the U.S. and Puerto Rico participating in Puppy Bowl XII. All three of the Dumb Friends League’s puppies were adopted following the event.
