Stewey is an innocent little fellow who wandered away from his home, as terriers
sometimes do. We don’t know how long he was lost, but before he could get safely back, he
was attacked by two large, aggressive dogs that clamped their jaws on his head and started to
tear him apart. Luckily, he was rescued and brought to the Dumb Friends League, and our
veterinarians were able to provide him with the medical care he needed.
The Dumb Friends League needs your support of our Holiday Fund Drive so that we
can save more animals like Stewey.
To best serve the animals right here in our community during the holiday season
and into next year, we have set a fundraising goal for the season. Our goal is to raise
$200,000 by December 31st so we may continue to heal their wounds, give them shelter
and find them loving homes.
You can make a difference with your generous gift today.
- $25 helps vaccinate a cat or dog in our care.
- $35 can help spay or neuter a pet prior to adoption.
- $50 helps a homeless pet receive emergency surgery.
Please help with a gift of $25, $35, $50 or whatever you are able.
Your support is crucial to help end the suffering of homeless pets in our community and
give even more cats, kittens, dogs and puppies a second chance.
On behalf of the pets in the Denver area, we thank you,

Robert D. Rohde, President
