H&R Block
Raise money for the Dumb Friends League by having H&R block prepare your taxes. Print this referral form and bring it to a participating H&R Block office. If you are a new client, the Dumb Friends League will receive $20! To find the nearest H&R Block office, go to hrblock.com.
Madison & Company Properties
Realtors Sarah Bowles and Nancy Schlechten of Madison & Company Properties are giving back to the furry friends at the Dumb Friends League. If you are looking to buy or sell a home, Sarah and Nancy will donate 10 percent of their commissions, up to $1,000, in your name to the Dumb Friends League upon successful closing of your new and/or existing home. Host an event
Golf tournament, art show, doggie pool party — just a few examples of how you can have fun and support the Dumb Friends League at the same time. Last year more than $60,000 was raised by people who hosted their own events. It is important to receive approval ahead of time for an event so that we can help with event promotions via our events calendar, provide brochures about the Dumb Friends League for your guests or help out in other ways to ensure a successful event. To plan your event, please follow these important steps.
Corporate support
Aligning your company with the Dumb Friends League will ensure positive exposure in the community. There are many ways you can accomplish this, including being a sponsor or vendor at an event, donating a percentage of sales or other promotion and more. Create your own celebration or memorial Web page
Support the homeless pets in our care in a uniquely personal way. Your celebration or memorial Web page can include photos and videos, your personal story, a guest book and a place for friends and family to support homeless pets at the Dumb Friends League.
Donate items to silent auctions or give aways
Consider donating a service, product or item for use at one of the Dumb Friends League events. Gift certificates are used for auctions as well as for contest prizes, and are an easy way to promote your company to our supporters. Corporations as well as individuals may donate valuables or collectables for use in auctions. Your contribution is tax-deductible.
