The Dumb Friends League has a history of service. For more than 100 years, we have sheltered and cared for lost, abandoned and abused pets.

Thanks to wide community support, we offer programs that help both pets and people.

We are proud to be the metro-Denver area’s local humane society. You are invited to visit our website and our two shelters to learn more about us.

Your Support Saves LivesYour Support Saves homeless pets

You directly impact the lives of thousands of homeless pets when you donate to the Dumb Friends League. In fact, 79 cents of every dollar you give goes to animal care, education and outreach.

Through your donations, we provide loving care for the pets that come to our shelters. We offer a safe haven for pets that are lost from home. We rehabilitate pets with medical or behavioral issues to help them become adoption-ready. We provide spay/neuter services at reduced fees, subsidized by Dumb Friends League donors, to reduce pet overpopulation and save lives. We investigate situations involving animal cruelty and neglect, and provide many other services that help save the lives of innocent pets that have no place else to turn.
