Feral cats are unowned, outdoor cats that do not allow themselves to be handled or touched, and do not have the potential to be socialized into pets.
Community cats are outdoor, unowned, free-roaming cats. These cats could be friendly or feral and may or may not have a caregiver.
If you would like more info on how to care for and trap feral/community cats, please contact Metro CAT at denvercats.org.
To make an appointment to bring a trapped feral or community cat to our spay/neuter clinic, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Feral kittens less than three months old have the potential to be socialized. Weaned feral kittens around six weeks of age should be taken to an animal shelter where they can be vaccinated, socialized, spayed or neutered and adopted into loving homes.
