Building a Better Way Home: Transfer
Our ability to transfer and treat homeless animals from surrounding communities, as well as throughout Colorado and other states, is limited by the current infrastructure for transfer. We have no garage dedicated to our transfer program, very limited space to isolate transfer dogs and no separate medical space to treat their unique conditions.
A new, dedicated transfer area will be built where animals can arrive to a less stressful environment and remain together during evaluation, treatment and adoption. With the expansion of this area, we will be able to welcome and care for more dogs from shelters in communities where they would otherwise have no chance of being adopted, while still making homeless pets from metro Denver and Colorado our first priority.
All gifts made to our $40 million Building a Better Way Home campaign are matched up to $20 million. Donate now.
