Whinny is a cute little mare who came to us with no training. She recently had her first ride and did very well in the walk, trot, and lope. Although she is progressing every day in her groundwork and under saddle, Whinny can still be quite anxious and will require an advanced handler with colt starting experience to grow her confidence and continue her education. Whinny has been chosen as a candidate for the CSU Right Horse Program. The Harmony Equine Center partners with the CSU Right Horse Program and allows students the opportunity to work with our adoptable horses and expand their training knowledge. If you are interested in adopting Whinny, she will become available again in late April/early May. Please call (720)626-2203 or speak to a staff member to express your interest in adopting her.
