Jasmin Rice, Director of Events

Jasmin Rice brings extensive event management experience—as well as a passion for working with people and pets—to her position as director of events at the Dumb Friends League. Prior to joining the League, Jasmin served as director of health and safety services for the Mile High Chapter of the American Red Cross.

During her 12-year tenure with the Dumb Friends League, Jasmin began as the Volunteer Services Managed facilitating strategic initiatives that resulted in more than 100 percent growth in the number of active volunteers at the League. Jasmin oversees the League’s fundraising events, including the Furry Scurry, Catwalk and Lulu’s BBQ as well as our donor cultivation and appreciation events.

Jasmin graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in psychology. She is the proud mom on Holi, a 17 year of Shi Tzu and retired Dumb Friends League ambassadog, and Baily, a 10 year old terrier mix adopted from the League.
