Celebrate the cats of summer during CatFest week

The Dumb Friends League is going to the cats! It’s time for our annual tradition of celebrating all-things feline, and the event is getting a twist this year. Adoption fees are still being waived at our shelters on all cats 1 year and older during the celebration, but on Saturday, July 7 from 6 to 9 p.m., the Quebec Street Shelter is hosting the Catwalk.

The Catwalk is a 21-and-older event, and tickets are $20. Everyone who adopts a cat or a kitten during CatFest week will receive $5 off their ticket. Admission to the Catwalk includes music and beer tastings from local breweries at different stations where guests can learn about our cat programs and view available cats. (Sorry, no runways or feline models will be at the event.)

Food trucks, additional beer tickets for our beer garden and merchandise, including 2018 shirts will also be available for purchase. Sign up to become a monthly donor, and receive a commemorative beer glass!

Entry to the Catwalk event requires that guests show valid identification during the check-in process. Guests will receive a “pawport,” which includes information about the locations of the various beer and information stations. Pawports stamped at every booth will be entered to win a prize.

Whether you want to adopt a feline friend or learn about cats, enjoy a cold beer on a warm night at the Catwalk! Visit ddfl.org/catwalk to purchase tickets.

Waived fees are sponsored by Petco Foundation.
