Beer + Cats + Compassionate Coloradans = 2019 Catwalk

Saturday, July 13 was a great day for cats in Colorado! More than 500 craft beer-loving cat enthusiasts raised a glass at the Dumb Friends League Catwalk Tails and Ales, a beer tasting, cat celebration.

The second annual Catwalk took place at the League’s Quebec Street Shelter in Denver and raised more than $34,000 to help homeless pets. During the ticketed event which included VIP, general admission and designated driver options, feline fans sampled craft beer from ten local breweries, viewed adorable adoptable cats and learned about programs that benefit cats in our community.

Catwalk guests also enjoyed food from local food trucks and music provided by Alice 105.9 and received cat food samples and a cocktail at the Hill’s Science Diet booth compliments of Tito’s Vodka. Attendees also had the opportunity to purchase Catwalk merchandise including a commemorative beer glass and t-shirt with all proceeds benefitting pets at the Dumb Friends League.
