Home – one syllable, four letters and so much meaning behind the word. Home is where families are made. This year, you can help the Dumb Friends League create families with the pets that bring us together when you participate in the 11th annual Colorado Gives Day.
Colorado Gives Day, which begins at 12 a.m. on Tuesday, December 8, celebrates and increases philanthropy throughout our state. On this one special day, people are encouraged to participate and give where they live. While you can donate to the League any time of the year, giving on Colorado Gives Day increases your impact for the pets at our facilities. How, you wonder? The Community First Foundation and FirstBank will join in the giving and donate an additional $1 million in support to charities with the most donations on Colorado Gives Day.
In the spirit of giving, we have a few suggestions:
- Make a memorial or tribute gift in honor or in memory of someone.
- Be sure to check if your company matches gifts to the League.
- Take advantage of year-end giving with your donation.
Visit ddfl.org/cgd to schedule your gift today or give a gift to the League on December 8 to help the animals in our care until they are able to make a house a home.
