Dumb Friends League waiving pet adoption fees for veterans and active military on Veterans Day
To honor our brave service men and women this Veterans Day, the Dumb Friends League is waiving adoption fees for all pets for veterans and active military on Monday, November 11.
The League’s Veterans Day adoption special is a way to give back to military service members and show appreciation for all they have sacrificed.
All cat and dog adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip ID, a free wellness visit at a participating veterinarian and 30 days of free pet insurance from PetFirst. The standard adoption-screening process still applies during all waived-fee promotions.
The Dumb Friends League Leslie A. Malone Center in Denver and the Buddy Center in Castle Rock will be open for adoptions on Monday, November 11 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The waived adoption fees on Veterans Day are generously sponsored by Petco. A 50% adoption discount for veterans and active military is offered by the League year-round, courtesy of Lockheed Martin.
