We have some BORKING news! The Dumb Friends League is excited to announce the official launch of our inaugural Pawcast. You read that right, we will be joining you over the air in our Dumb Friends League Pawcast, podcast.
Are you all ears yet?
Okay, okay. You probably want more information on what we’ll be talking about in this Pawcast before you commit. And, that’s the best part – it’s up to you, our listener! We are rearing and ready to share all about the incredible work that is done at the League, but we want to know what you want to know. Are you interested in adoptions? Maybe you’d like to know more about our cruelty investigations. Perhaps you’ve always wanted to know about other programs like humane education or behavior. Well, keep up that curiosity you cool cats because we’ve got plenty of time and lots of information to share.
A little house cleaning before we get the ball rolling – the who, what and when of the Pawcast.
To start, we will be recording episodes monthly. This interview style podcast will be hosted by Maia Brusseau (interim director of marketing and communications), Lizzy Byrd (digital marketing manager) and yours truly, Joan Thielen (communications and content specialist). For each episode, we will invite an expert on the associated topic to interview, answer your questions and provide a unique inside perspective on all things animal welfare.
In addition to the interview, the hosts will be featuring a favorite adoptable pet. You, as our listener, will get a firsthand account of just how cuddly and smooshable they are.
Do we have your attention? Great!
