This past Tuesday was an incredible day of giving and compassion for organizations across Colorado. Thanks to you and your generosity, the Dumb Friends League raised an amazing $442,691.92 to support the vulnerable pets and horses in our care and community. With our average cost of care per animal exceeding $550, the amount we received on Colorado Gives Day will help us shelter, treat, and love more than 800 animals in need.

Over the last year, the League has nurtured more than 22,000 homeless, sick, and injured animals and helped create and preserve countless love stories between pets and people. With each new day, we are thinking more creatively to meet the growing and diverse needs of the communities we have the honor to serve. We hope you’ll feel gratified to know that, because of you, we are making the world a more caring place for animals and those who love them most.

We are truly humbled by your support and dedication to our mission. Thank you for being the difference for the animals at the League, and for helping to sustain and enrich our vital programming for the coming year.

If you were unable to give on Colorado Gives Day, we hope you’ll consider donating to the League before the end of the year. All gifts made before December 31 will be matched up to $200,000.

From our family to yours, we wish you a safe and peaceful holiday season!
