Urinating or marking in the house, redirected territorial aggression, and constant meowing from being in heat can be directly related to a cat not being spayed or neutered. Third, you’ll be doing the right thing! At least 125,000 homeless cats are living in our streets and alleys. Another 27,000 strays and unwanted cats are brought to local animal shelters every year. More than 7,800 of these cats and kittens must be euthanized because there are not enough homes available. Spaying or neutering even one animal can make a big difference and means you may be saving many lives.
