Due to COVID-19 concerns, volunteer on-boarding at all of our facilities has been suspended indefinitely. If you have recently submitted an application or registered for an orientation, you will be receiving more communication in the coming weeks.

Due to the overwhelming response we have received from potential foster parents, we are not currently accepting new foster applications. If you previously filled out the foster parent interest form, we ask for your patience as we assess our needs and begin to follow up as necessary. There is no need to call us to check in on the process. Please be aware that we may not be able to meet your specific criteria or requests regarding animals in need of foster care and your flexibility throughout this situation is appreciated.

During this time of unprecedented uncertainty, we want to assure you that our teams are caring for the vulnerable animals who need us most at all four Dumb Friends League facilities. The best way to support DFL during this time is through your generous donations. Thank you for thinking of the Dumb Friends League and the animals we care for!

For more information, please call 303.751.5772, Ext. 7311.

Due to the high volume of requests, we are unable to accommodate new group volunteer inquiries at this time. A limited number of group volunteer opportunities may be available via our corporate partnership program—if you would like to learn more about how your business can support the Dumb Friends League as a sponsor or a corporate partner, please contact Rebecca Orozco, Corporate Partnership Manager, at 720.241.7085 or rorozco@ddfl.org.

Are you a veterinarian, technician, or assistant? Or are you training to become one? We need veterinary volunteers for our Well Pet vaccination clinics in the community. These are one-off opportunities that require no training prior to volunteering. Get the process started by completing this quick and easy application!
