This program provides an opportunity to earn service hours and valuable experience working with animals while supporting the League during the busy summer months when our animal numbers are highest. Help provide essential care for homeless cats and dogs by ensuring they have a clean, comfortable kennel as part of the Animal Care team.

Applications are no longer being accepted for Summer 2024. Check back later for more information on future opportunities, or consider exploring our Foster program.

Applicants must be 16 or 17 years old as of May 31.

If accepted to the program, applicants must:

  • Complete online registration form
